One of Insight Global's top media and technology client's is looking for an experienced Unity/Unreal Engine generalist (“level designer”) to help explore what tomorrow's AR/VR experiences will look like. You will collaborate with a very small team of technical artists using state of the art tools to explore various new directions and applications for our team of Research Scientists and Software Engineers using new software and hardware. Your experience working on small teams where your functional knowledge of every step of the process is more valued than a specialist. Your knowledge of how to make things function is valued over your asset creation prowess.

Responsibilities:

● Brainstorm and create new interactive 3D experiences, with high-end characters, creatures, props and environments in both Unity and UnrealEngine.

● Troubleshoot complex AR/VR systems, body tracking equipment, and complex Linux/Windows computer systems.

● Design, build and test advanced animation setups, user UIs in these environments.

● Build ‘experiences’ (pared down interactive ‘scenarios’ - not games) to evaluate strengths/weaknesses of new software/hardware/approaches.

● Assist with demos/testing of the experiences we create.
