Art Team Manager (Unity, VR/AR)

Location: Austin, TX.

WIN Reality has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Art Team Manager!

WIN Reality is a highly collaborative team focused on creating high-end experiences that allow athletes and coaches to virtually train, analyze, and improve their performance.

We are looking for a senior Artist with management experience to join our software development team to work alongside Designers and Programmers. Requirements for this role include allocating and tasking art team resources, clearly communicating specs and day-to-day direction for the art team, and supporting their processes. This person will also be responsible for creating art assets for the VR application and other user-facing products, when necessary.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the ability to understand a wide range of art development workflows and implementation pipelines:

• Creating and managing tasks from spec to development to completion
• Providing feedback and direction to align efforts with product goals
• Understanding, in general, the technical requirements for great art assets

An acceptable resume will demonstrate experience with:

• Experience producing and/or managing artists
• Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ship features or products
• Working in a self-directed, organized and efficient manner
• A wide range of responsibility creating shippable assets for games and software

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in game, simulation, or training software development
• Shipped two or more titles

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on VR applications
• Experience working on mobile applications
• Solid understanding of the suite of art-related tools in Unity
