Responsibilities

YBVR is developing a new app for VR headsets to watch live sports. Designed to be a sports hub for live and VoD content, we are looking for a tech and sports enthusiast to help us create the future of sports viewership. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Sports Partnerships (US leagues, federations, tournaments, and networks), with the goal of providing US-based viewers with a recurring portfolio of sports related content. Responsibilities will include pitching the product to Sports Partners, from broadcaster with content rights to teams and leagues that generate the content. And uncovering and crafting value added partnerships with sponsors or corporate partners looking to brand the in-App experience.


YBVR's US Strategic Partnerships Manager will be expected to:


  • Act as main point of contact from YBVR towards leagues and networks.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver commercial presentations of YBVR and our products.
  • Help YBVR partners monetize the service. Define monetization strategies.
  • Work with YBVR engineering department towards the successful integration of partners into our platform.


This is a remote position, but the candidate need to be able to travel up to 30% of the time.


Qualifications

4+ years of experience in the following will be positively valued:

  • Experience working with broadcasters, preferably right owners in large US Sports.
  • Experience working in commercial roles with leagues and federations in the US.
  • Experience working with sports marketing agencies or directly with teams.
  • Experience collaborating to activate corporate sponsors within the world of sports and/or tech.
  • Knowledge of commercialization of sports TV rights.
  • Creating pitch decks with a clear story-line and commercial objective.
  • Building relationships with decision makers inside the sports industry.

Also, a bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, communication or equivalent working experience will be valued.
