Job Description

This job is based in Austin, TX - we'll consider local candidates as well as those open to relo.

Founded in 2017 with offices in Austin, TX and Seattle, WA, Fair Worlds is an immersive agency that uses Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality to engage, entertain, & solve problems for brands like HEB, National Pool and Tile, Dell, Environmental Defense Fund, New York Times, AMD and more. The name of our agency, “Fair Worlds”, was chosen as a nod to the boundless, sometimes outrageous optimism of the mid-20th century World’s Fairs, when themes like "Building the World of Tomorrow" and "Peace Through Understanding" could bring the world together. And "Disneyland" was already taken.

Our passion is using the latest immersive technologies to create experiences. We play our fair share of games– it comes with the territory–and we look to games for inspiration for our work (which includes an immersive location based AR game/in-house project), but we primarily are making software and experiences. Creatively speaking, our roots are firmly planted in filmmaking, graphic design, 3D animation, comedy, and the (get ready for it) ‘art of emotional storytelling.’ Virtual & Augmented reality technologies have opened an infinite number of doors to what's possible, and now our goal is to go through as many of them as we can.

Fair Worlds shares office space with the Alamo Drafthouse office in Hyde Park and in part because of that, we have a unique culture, one that is transparent, encourages creativity and has a mission of doing good in this world!
