JOIN OUR TEAM! We seek an Augmented Reality Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our global, growing team working on innovative solutions with our AI team. This role can sit in the US, Europe or Bishkek. Our products and platforms are deployed at top global retailers and CPG companies.

The Opportunity

AR developer at ReTech Labs will be responsible for providing high-quality images from tablets for further image processing.

As part of AI team, you will be delivering new, innovative products and improving performance, as well as maintain the stability of the system, develop, improve, test and maintain robustness of high-quality AR modules.

You will be working with the industry leading product in retail automation – Rebotics. You will be mainly in contact with professionals in AI and mobile development. Applying your knowledge in AR will help driving the efficiency of the product.

Key Activities

• Work with the project-oriented development team to create custom AR experiences for enterprise use cases with ARCore or ARKit;
• Deliver new and innovative products;
• Collaborate with other developers and clients to evaluate project needs and produce clever solutions;
• Set up virtual environments for a wide range of AR scenarios, depending on the project type;
• Implementing user interfaces based on mockups and storyboards;
• Crafting intuitive user interactions for both novice and experienced users;
• Writing well-documented, reusable code in Swift or Kotlin;
• Maintain the stability of the system;
• Develop, improve, test and maintain robust, high quality computer vision modules for different pipelines;
• Using industry standard source control and issue tracking systems (Git, Jira, etc.);
• Participating in project planning and team code reviews;
• Subject expert with trends and new advancements in augmented and virtual reality.
• Deliver AR module as part of Rebotics mobile app providing ability to dispay recognized products on shelves of stores in real-time.

What will you bring?

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• 2+ years of AR development experience using ARKit (preferred) or ARCore;
• Effective english communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills;
• MLKit or CoreML experience;
• Familiar with OpenCV;
• Background on image processing and computer vision, especially image stitching pipeline, feature tracking and feature matching preferred
• Knowledge of optimization methods for computer vision applications;
• Experience of Visual SLAM algorithm and 3D modeling.
