The role

We are looking to hire a 3D Artist/Designer who will partner with us to help our clients navigate increasingly complex business problems. Your primary objective will be to lead the roll out of the Cognitive Human Enterprise construct and create experiential technology showcases, thought leadership and collaboration opportunities for our accounts. You will work with technologists and business specialists, leveraging EY’s deep industry knowledge, platforms and capabilities to push innovation. And as a champion for change, you will be integrating emerging technologies into every corner of what we do at EY.

Key Responsibilities

You will:
  • Develop immersive and interactive 3D environments to create full user experiences in web-based metaverse platforms.
  • Design virtual and/or hybrid experiences in collaboration with internal EY technologists across Client Technology and other key areas.
  • Work with state-of-the-art emerging technology and new immersive platforms.

Qualifications
  • Proven ability and creativity in the use of 3D modelling and animation tools (i.e. Blender, Maya, Cinema4D, Rhino, etc).
  • Experience with graphic design tools for creating high-quality textures and materials for 3D environments optimized for delivery across a variety of platforms (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Blender, etc).
  • Excellent capability in the field of web development for 3D interactive and immersive experiences, including developing explorable content optimized for the web and web-based platforms (i.e. Three.js, WebGL, etc).
  • Experience with global interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Strong proficiency in usage of game engines such as Unity3D and/or Unreal.
  • Experience in designing spatial interfaces and environments for VR/AR/XR experiences for devices such as Oculus, Hololens and/or HTC Vive.
  • An understanding of marketing and communication principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to create reusable processes and resources.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex and time-sensitive projects through organization and prioritization.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability in developing relationships with project stakeholders, market-facing teams and support resources.
  • Excellent listening and interpretation skills.
  • Fluency in local languages as needed or appropriate and strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
