Q Analysts is looking for Test Engineers to help support several projects for our client. Roles will be onsite in Redmond, WA.

Looking for an experienced tester to work on testing applications for Augmented and Virtual Reality products. Project requires a knowledgeable background in testing OS apps or games or visual interfaces with good attention to detail. Technical troubleshooting skills are also required.

Tester will work with teams to plan daily schedules, run manual test cases, logging detailed bugs and document and create test reports. Project involves testing Augmented and Virtual Reality applications on a AR/VR headsets. Requires good exploratory skills, sharp visual skills and an inquisitive mind to test the limitations of the software and hardware. They will also have to be comfortable with team collaboration. Functionality to be tested includes controllers, headsets, store interfaces, apps etc.

Must haves:

• Previous xbox testing experience
• Device, hardware, game testing background
• Windows OS knowledge (OS installs, joining domains, powershell/cmdline, troubleshooting)
• Debugger and triage experience
• Azure DevOps/TFS experience
• Experience with debugging
• Experience/understanding of code flow and related IP
• Detailed oriented
• Good time management
• Self-directed
• Able to adapt to change quickly on a daily basis
• Good communication
