In this position, you will work with other passionate team members to help developers and other product teams to best apply Esri tech for customer needs in the areas of augmented and virtual reality.

Responsibilities
  • Research, envision and design UX/UI solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations, visual designs, technical documents, and diagrams
  • Synthesize complex requirements and convert them into relevant, intuitive, easyto-use, and accessible designs
  • Drive overall design coherence by providing interaction and visual design guidance and reviews
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in novel art installations, creative user experience design, web design, or interaction design, preferably with a focus on content design and information architecture
  • Experience with design software, such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Knowledge of best practices and user-centered design approaches
  • Familiarity with designing for responsive websites
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Good writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • An online or PDF portfolio that demonstrates your design abilities and how you think
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in fine art, human computer interaction, graphic design, computer science or related field
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards, including I10n, i18n, and translation
  • Knowledge of geographic information system (GIS), mapping, and analysis applications a big plus
  • Experience in designing in mobile environments
  • Eager to work collaboratively within and across teams
