The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for various consolidated reporting and analysis. S/he will be responsible for the accuracy and accumulation of financial information for reporting and supports the company’s global financial, planning and analysis.
The position is based in Andover, MA., and has the potential to be a hybrid, work from home/in-office role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of Corporate Flash Reporting, includes reporting global sales related information across business units, markets, top customers and product lines.
- Analyze consolidated financial results on a monthly basis and investigate variances at the division, site and department levels.
- Collaborate with department heads to transform business initiatives into a financial plan.
- Analyze various Corporate department spending (budgeting, actuals, variance analysis, financial close).
- Provide detailed analysis to Corporate department heads on various cost categories and vendor accounts to ensure costs are in control and spending visibility is provided.
- Support the forecasting and budget processes and develop/implement new process improvements.
- Perform reconciliations, provide reporting for key SOX controls and maintain supporting documents.
- Prepare various accounting entries for departmental operating expenses.
- Responsible for maintaining and reporting various working capital metrics in reporting packages.
- Assist with various analytical and reporting needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience performing Accounting and/or Financial Analysis
- Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle, and SAP
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required
- Outstanding analytical, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Takes responsibility and initiative to act and think independently
- Detail-oriented, business-friendly team player with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SOX compliance; adherence to all organizational policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; and understands the Corporate Finance requirements of a multinational company
- A commitment to continuous improvement and desire to grow in a professional and dynamic environment
- An independent and resourceful problem solver who can meet strict reporting deadlines
