JOIN OUR TEAM! We seek an Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our global, growing team working on innovative solutions. Our products and platforms are deployed at top global retailers and CPG companies.

The Opportunity

As the Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality Developer for ReTech Labs you will be part of our AI team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality images from different medium sources (tablet, robot and shelf camera) for further image processing.

Key Activities

• Work with the project-oriented development team to create custom AR and VR experiences for enterprise use cases with ARCore for Google and ARKit for Apple.
• Deliver new and innovative products
• Collaborate with other developers and clients to evaluate project needs and produce clever solutions
• Setting up virtual environments for a wide range of AR or VR scenarios, depending on the project type
• Implementing user interfaces based on mockups and storyboards
• Crafting intuitive user interactions for both novice and experienced users
• Writing well-documented, reusable code in C++, Python, or other languages as necessary
• Responsible for maintaining the stability of the system
• Diagnosing, documenting, and fixing bugs reported by testers and users
• Develop, improve, test and maintain robust, high quality computer vision modules for different pipelines
• Using industry standard source control and issue tracking systems (Git, Jira, etc.)
• Participating in project planning and team code reviews
• Subject expert with trends and new advancements in augmented and virtual reality

What will you bring?

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of AR/VR development experience.
• Familiar with OpenCV and AR/VR app development on iOS/Android platform
• Proficient in C++ and Python programming for computer vision projects
• Strong background on image processing and computer vision, especially image stitching pipeline, feature tracking and feature matching
• Knowledge of optimization methods for computer vision applications
• Experience of Visual SLAM algorithm and 3D modeling is a plus but not required.
• Must have effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills
