Augmented Reality / Technology Department
The Technology team at Red 6 engineer’s systems to see and interpret the world. These systems synthesize and visualize a synthetic reality into a hive mind of real-world knowledge. We are engineering high performing and highly advanced augmented reality platforms and infrastructure, which support our military partners’ operations. This enables us to collaborate and train with the world’s most advanced military systems and develop our soldiers’ capabilities as the world’s most important line of defense.
Research Department
The goal of the Research department is to fundamentally understand and define how the multiverse works. Embedded within the Research department is a talented team that builds the tools that allow us to conduct R&D with a unique understanding of the world’s bleeding edge technologies. These tools tackle problems from data ingestion and visualization to intuitive interactions and advanced communications networks. To achieve this goal, we require a first-rate development ecosystem. As such, we’re investing in building an AR-specific engineering team.
The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to work with our various technical and non-technical teams. The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to contribute in both an individual and team environment. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders and help contribute to strong cross-functional collaboration as you utilize your abilities in design generation and execution. You will be successful as you work closely with the various Red 6 teams to create branding and marketing ideas that align with marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in graphic design
- In-depth knowledge of PowerPoint
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent eye for detail
- Experience with DoD/Military clients - NICE TO HAVE
- Qualified candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
