We are currently looking for a Data Collection Proctor to join our R&D team for one of our clients located in Mountainview, California. As a Data Collection Proctor you manage data collection that guides engineering research and improves core imaging technologies. Primary data type is photos of people using prototype phones, including their face. You will guide members of the company and their guests through various tests using proprietary software, ensuring not only a good experience for study subjects but also that high-quality data flows through the system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure high-quality data collection using proprietary software.
• Identify recurring problems and work with the team to make improvements.
• Communicate current and future plans to the team, coordinate with other team members to assist in daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of experience with customer or client relations OR Associates degree with one year of customer service experience
• Outgoing and comfortable interacting with the company employees.
• Comfort interacting with new people / members of the public is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a technical environment
• Experience with Android OS.

Preferred

• STEM degree or 2 years experience in STEM.
• Customer service, sales experience, etc.
• Work will be conducted on prototype hardware; some ability or experience in troubleshooting is a plus.
