Perspectus, Inc. is a startup with a mission to advance medicine by revolutionizing the way we view and understand the human body. We do this by combining traditional medical imaging with cutting edge virtual reality and big-data technology to improve understanding for patients, clinicians, and students.

Product

Perspectus VR is a virtual reality product that volumizes medical image like MRI and CT scans into the 3D space. When combined with a head mounted display (HMD) it allows the user to become fully immersed within the visual data set and walk through the human body, much like in the ANT-MAN and InnerSpace movies.

Role

You will be a foundational member of the Perspectus VR product team. We are looking for seasoned VR Tester with formal QA training as an individual contributor with excellent interpersonally skills.

Responsibilities

·      Be the “voice of the customer” in product development for new features

·      Create support tickets and initiate actions to resolve client issues

·      Provide product deployment and configuration for sales demos and conferences

·      Create formal test plans; write and execute black box test cases

·      Participate in prioritizing product backlog items for defects and new features

·      Collaborate with product development members in all disciplines during the SDLC process

·      Identify, log, and classify defects and drive bug triage meetings

·      Provide well understood technical documentation for internal and external consumption

·      Maintain working lab and equipment to simulate client deployments

·      Mentor other employees as our company grows

Needed to Thrive

·      Basic understanding of IT Networking at the protocol level

·      Experience with 3D and immersive VR environments

·      Proactive “can-do” contribution towards overcoming obstacles impacting our business

·      Ability to travel up to 20%

Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

·      6+ years’ experience in quality assurance or similar test engineering role

·      Experience as QA in a federally regulated industry a plus (i.e., ISO 13485)

·      Seasoned in industry best practices for QA and the SDLC process

·      Proficiency in at least one programming language a plus (Java, C++, C#, Python)
