holo|one – who we are


holo|one develops Sphere, the AR collaboration and productivity platform for enterprise, which enables businesses to easily integrate AR into everyday processes. Sphere enables users to blend digital content with the real world in the form of holograms, which seamlessly blend with the environment and appear to the user as physical objects levitating in the air. Sphere covers all common MR use cases (digital collaboration, remote assistance and workflow guidance) and is used across a variety of different industries.


The company is based in Santa Clara, California, with another office in Zurich, Switzerland. We count 21 employees worldwide and are in a growth phase following a Series A this year. We are now looking to hire an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Head of Marketing in the United States (the San Francisco Bay Area would be a plus, but not required) who will be responsible for managing our global marketing effort. 3+ years of marketing experience in B2B companies (candidates with prior experience within a VC-backed high-growth scale-up team will be highly valued) and a strong interest and passion for Augmented Reality technology are required. Prior experience in building up a marketing team as well as in marketing strategy is highly beneficial. 

 

What we are looking for


We are consistently winning bids against competitors and have one of the only productively used AR solutions on the market – now we need to put our name on the map and establish ourselves as an industry leader in the enterprise Augmented Reality space. We are looking for someone who will get us there. Specifically, we are in need of:

 

  • A comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our company’s vision to become a global augmented reality standard for enterprise
  • Leveraging existing partnerships and customers to increase visibility of our company in the augmented reality space
  • Positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry
  • Help shape the product in terms of offerings, feature bundles and SKUs as well as the product roadmap to facilitate sales
  • Help position our product to maximize visibility of both it and the company
  • Consistent messaging across all forms of company communication, be it flyers, social media or, most importantly, our website
  • Communicating our vision clearly and precisely not only outwards but also within the company
  • Relationships with consultancies, companies and individuals interested in and talking about the industry to an audience
  • An individual that is motivated and able to take ownership of the points above and go beyond

 

 

What we expect of you

 

  • Excellent written and oral English skills (German is a plus, but not required)
  • Prior marketing experience of at least three years, ideally but not necessarily in a growth-oriented tech startup
  • Strong personal interest in the augmented reality technology and industry
  • Interest in building a team (and the capability to do so) from the ground up, but no hesitancy to “get your hands dirty” – especially in the beginning
  • A global mindset and the willingness to work across time zones
  • Being able to work independently, willing to take initiative, organized in your work and professionally ambitious
