The Partner Engineering Team is a highly technical team working directly with strategic partners, developers and content creators to help build new integrations and experiences that leverage Snap’s platform products including Snap Kit, Ad Kit, and Camera Kit.

We’re looking for an AR Partner Engineer to join Snap Inc!

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with our partners’ creative teams to help them build new, innovative AR mobile experiences using Lens Studio
• Field highly technical Lens Studio questions raised by external Lens developers to ensure they are getting the most out of Lens Studio
• Collect feedback and feature requests and help prioritize Lens Studio features internally
• Evangelize our platform products to potential Camera Kit developers and Lens creators
• Enhance, expand, and help write Lens Studio documentation and resource materials
• Own the development of new interactive experiences from prototype to product release
• Collaborate with Creative and Engineering teams to make the most fun, surprising, and stable products possible
  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to program and code interactive experiences
• Ability to work with digital content creation tools (2D, 3D, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and expertise supporting external partners
• Excellent problem solving, debugging, and QA skills
• Expertise in designing, prototyping, and programming with real-time 3D engines (Unity, Unreal, OpenFrameworks, Processing, and WebGL/OpenGL, etc.)
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing real-time interactive experiences
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D packages like Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema4D
• Standout creative portfolio
• Experience working with machine learning technology
• Proven track record of shipping premium consumer product experiences in games, advertising, or other related channels
• A passion for creating interactive experiences that are fun, delightful, and allow Snapchatters to communicate and express themselves in new ways
