About The Team

SAP Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) is a key organization within SAP driving Industry Thought Leadership, Innovation, Market Development, Customer Engagement, Value Advisory, and Presales together with teams across SAP, as well as with customers and partners. Our focus is to drive customer success across all lines of business in 25 industries. ICA has global coverage with teams in all regions. We support your onboarding through a buddy and mentoring approach to help your success in this role.

As a Demo Solutions Specialist for the SAP Industries and Customer Advisory Innovation & Pioneering (Global Presales) organization, you will be responsible for developing innovative assets and content to help position our solutions to SAP customers, prospects or other interested in innovative SAP Solutions. These assets will be used by the SAP field, Marketing, Product team, SAP Partners, or others to drive customer engagements and keynotes.

Your role will mainly focus on designing and developing Innovative Applications, Product Demonstrations, Prototypes and Showcases which will position SAP’s Innovation Portfolio and bring future visionary products alive for inspiration.

You will have the opportunity to work in a global young dynamic Innovation team with a variety of state-of-the-art technologies as well as gain knowledge and insights how these will support innovative new industries scenarios. You will work in a virtual team environment and interact with colleagues all over the world.

Requirements

• Technical conception of interactive 3D real-time applications and other innovative
• Development of prototypes, showcases and productive solutions for customer projects and applications in the field of AR/VR/MR/XR
• Creation of real-time scenarios for VR/AR hardware (e.g. Microsoft HoloLens, HTC Vive, mobile platforms and other)
• Development experience is a strong fundament of your work
• UI/UX Skillset would be a plus to design the respective scenarios
• Highly structured work approach, quick comprehension, ability to understand complex topics and interdependencies
• Team player to collaborate with internal and external teams and solution teams in all regions
• Take initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency
• Be able to expand your knowledge to new solution areas or new innovative market trends in short time
• Follow all service processes, best practices, and guidelines
• Document the work completed to share it and for later re-use
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master University degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• Several years of development experience in the development of augmented/virtual and mixed reality applications
• Very proficient in using software development tools and Frameworks like Unity, Unreal engine, iOS ARKit, Xcode, Google ARCore, Microsoft HoloLens, Ominverse, Blender, Maya and others
• Development in Java, JS, Python, C++, C# etc. is your basic toolset
• Knowledge in innovative state of the art technologies like TensorFlow / ML, Crypto Technologies, Mobility etc. is a plus
• Experience in software development and architecture with proven technical skills
• Self-motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude, who is eager and able to work quickly
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Open, friendly, creative personality with service-oriented professional attitude
• Good communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and English
