Job Title: Power Integrity Engineer - AR/VR

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 1 Year

Summary:

We are seeking a versatile and passionate Power Integrity Engineer to join our Wearable Hardware team to tackle power solutions for the amazing new products. Your work has the potential to shape the hardware going into the next generation of AR/VR wearable devices.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of hands-on experience with power and signal integrity focus.
• Work with local and remote teams and suppliers to sign off PCB PDN solutions.
• Deep understanding in PI development including power delivery network modeling, simulation, and characterization for package, board, and Buck/boost/LDO regulators.
• Experience with signoff PDN solution and understanding PDN tradeoff across chip, package, PCB and voltage regulator.
• Deep understanding on different EM simulation algorithms (2D, 3D, frequency domain, time domain).
• Hands-on experience in 3D/2D industry SIPI tools, e.g., Cadence PowerSI, PowerDC, Ansys Siwave, HFSS, 3D-layout, and circuit simulator, LTspice or Hspice.
• Knowledge of PCB technologies (e.g. material and manufacturing technologies for rigid PCB and flex PCB).
• Familiar with Cadence layout tool Allegro and SiP.
• Experience with lab measurement with VNA, TDR, oscilloscope, and validation on printed circuit board level.
• Excellent communication skill and team work spirit.
• RF desense simulation experience is a plus.
• Experience of signal integrity modeling is a plus.
